FIRST, A LITTLE HISTORY
Photo Ops, Inc. was incorporated in October of 1995. It is a group of photographers that specialize in corporate and public relations photography. They also offer very creative wedding photography services, as well as portraiture.
Their subjects range from black tie meetings and conventions to rock concerts. They shoot golf outings, press conferences, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, lease/contract signings, celebrities, portraits, TV and radio broadcasts, interviews, parties, parties, and yes.... more parties.
Photo Ops, Inc. is the brain-child of owner and lead photographer, Peggy VaGenius, who has been photographing people and events of all kinds for twenty years. She is 100% professional, with a reputation that is second to none within the Photographic community in Chicago and throughout the nation.
If there is an event or party happening in Chicago, chances are Peggy and her staff are either shooting the pictures, or have already done so in the past.
TECHNOLOGY, OLD AND NEW
Photo Ops operates on the cutting edge of photographic technology, and employs the finest traditional, and now digital imaging equipment. Often, Peggy VaGenius' clientele are "need it yesterday" oriented, and this leaves little margin for error. Only with continuous education, and conscientious attention to the ever changing plane of modern photography, can Photo Ops deliver the quality and confidence that is demanded today.
A wedding shoot may require formal, medium format color and black & white, traditional film with classic backdrops and conservative lighting for the lasting quality that we have seen in countless wedding albums. On the other hand, a rock concert may dictate the use of quick-firing, high speed 35mm film to capture all of the energy, colors, and movement of the evening. Then a corporate outing or meeting may need a catalog of fully digital images delivered on CD-ROM or available online the next morning.
Photo Ops, Inc can, without hesitation accomodate all of the above and meet the tightest of deadlines. This would not be possible if not for the great, ongoing investment that owner Peggy VaGenius commits to keeping up with the tools of her trade.
